Well hello, to whoever loyal person who is still reading this.

A new game is going on beta really soon (Closed beta on 13th July, which lasts for 6 days).
It really looks awesome, and i think it has the potential for us to create a guild on it with more people.
The game is called Dragon Nest, and in my eyes, it is an anime version of Vindictus.

It has 4 classes; Warrior, Mage, Cleric and Archer. The usual.
Then they have a 2nd job.
Warrior goes Sword Master or Mercenary
Mage goes Force User or Elemental Lord
Cleric goes Paladin or Priest
Archer goes Bow Master or Acrobat


I haven't played yet, but here's what i've found out about the mechanics and classes..
-It is a third person with an aim feature. Kinda like GunZ, LOCO, S4 league, etc. TPS, per say; but in a mmorpg.
-The game is entirelly skill reliant, especially on PVP. From what i'ev heard from people playing on teh chinese server, a +12 sword has a lot more differences in looks than in performance; the difference is almost null
-Dungeons are really fun, especially in groups
-System requirements are very low:


About the classes.. There's also a third job. The 2nd class has two different weapons to choose from and each one has a different skill tree which you choose as your third job; tough you can pick skills from both, some skills require a certain weapon thus requiring more specialization on that one.



-Sword Masters are fast striking 2h sword users. They have a lot of ranged attacks too, so they are perfect for fighting ranged classes, but a bit weaker against other melees, due to the lack of melee-range stomping power (yes, it is possible to juggle/knock people int he air on pvp)

-Mercenaries are heavy hitters, but slow. Think of them as a bazooka. Takes time to fire and aim, but if it hits, it's devastating. They have a large ammounts of aoe with knockups. Tough, on pvp they have a hard time against ranged classes since they are so slow with their attacks; but if they land them, it's game over.

-Force Users are the black mages. They use some dark-void-portal on the ground things; huge black holes, dark energy balls, slow/stop debuffs, teleportations, etc. I have no idea how they are like on pvp, but i heard they're pretty nasty with their stop+dark energy+slow+teleport combo

-Elemental Lords; i don't really need to say much because of their name. They focus on fire and ice skills. Fire deals more damage, while ice deals less but with more debuffs, like slowing or even freezing and stunning or knockup, thus making ice better for pvping. No information on their pvp performance from me aswell.

-Paladins are the main tanks of the game, with taunts, LOTS of defense and hp buffs and high attackspeed. I heard they are really scary on pvp due to their high survival plus their very high attackspeed which makes them able to juggle people in the air for very long if given the chance to.

-Priests.. I don't know anything about them, except that they are the main healers, and i've just seen one skill where they summon this giant scepter thing on the ground that shocks anything nearby for a few seconds.

-Bow masters; i've heard they do an insane ammount of damage on pvp, but lack on defense and escape mechanisms or, should i say, the "Plan B skill". As far as i've seen, their solo PvE seems quite weak, but i'm not sure if the player i saw was bad at it or not.

-Acrobats are a mix of range and melee, but focus more on melee. They are the best comboers on the game, and attack really fast. It's hard to predict their combos because they attack so fast, and have a lot of escaping moves; i've heard good stuff about them on pvp.















Another thing i wanted to say is that, i'm not sure if you all know, but all of the oldies from Neosteam EU (be it rogwels, elerds, cursed, phoenix) have made one forum to re-unite everyone. A lot of people there seem to also like this game a lot, thus my hopes to make one big guild there are quite high.

arena fights are made with rounds, up to 5 if i'm not wrong; and it can be a 1vs1 or a large group vs group.
kinda like the battlegrounds in aika (not the last standing ones, the one you acess on the first town, close to teh skill npcs)

Both 1v1 and teamfights are completelly different, if you ask me. Here are two examples:

its a german forum u have to register where u get 3 diamonds which u can use to buy a gift for urself or for a friend like a closed beta key...

it might take some time to get a key cuz its not automatic a mod will send them personally...

still, if you're judging a game by how it looks, then aste, you're going to loose a lot.

i've allways said LoL was the worst game ever, because it looked so fugly to me, the bird's eye view and the graphs themselves, untill i've tried it, and hey, it really got me addicted.
same goes with flyff. idc how bad it looked, that game was awesome.

idk, there are just some games where gameplay > graphics, and this is just not another mmorpg, it's quite different from those mmos, where you do the following to win:
1) right click
2)F1 F2 F3 F4 F5 F6 F7 F8 pot F9 F1 F2 F3 pot F4 F5
3) win your pvp duel/level up

this game actually requires you to constantly dodge, chain skills, etc.
